The Sunman Rural Fire Department acquired an Eagle Air Mobile Air Unit trailer from Eagle Compressors, Inc. through the Dearborn Community Foundation grant program.
About the Mobile Air Unit
The Mobile Air Unit trailer allows the Sunman Rural Fire Department to refill SCBA (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus) cylinders worn by firefighters at fire scenes as well as the high-pressure storage cylinders located on the department’s heavy-rescue truck. This trailer will also be used to provide mutual aid to neighboring departments through emergency scene SCBA management and storage cylinder refill assistance.
